Our proofreading services are performed by experienced certified linguists. Every project goes through a rigorous proofreading process to ensure that we’re delivering professional, accurate, error-free translations. Our proofreading service includes the analysis of content, organization, coherence, tone and style of text. We also check for spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization errors.
Proofreading is managed as a two-step process:
- The initial translator proofreads their own work in order to ensure translation accuracy and eliminate errors
- A second translator is then assigned to review the first translator’s work

Translation checking
We review all aspects of the translation including accuracy against the original text and appropriateness for the intended audience. Spelling and grammar mistakes are corrected as a matter of course. If an initial translation requires more in-depth corrections, we can help you determine the most cost-effective way to proceed.
Translation proofreading
We correct the spelling and grammar of the translated text without checking accuracy against the original text. This is a less expensive option than the checking service, which may be useful in cases where it's not required.
Proofreading of translations completed by other parties
We also provide our clients with proofreading and editing services for translations completed by another source.
