Merrill Brink International Maintains Certifications for Quality Management System
International translation company continues to be the first and only business in its industry to meet five important quality and process standards.
St. Paul, Minn./Galway, Ireland — Merrill Brink International (www.merrillbrink.com), a leading provider of language solutions for global companies and law firms, today announced that it has renewed its certifications to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003. Merrill Brink sought the designation to demonstrate its commitment to meeting the special requirements of regulatory reporting, specifically in translation work for the medical devices industry.
Merrill Brink has held certification for ISO 9001:2008 since 1999 and ISO 13485:2003 since 2008.
“Merrill Brink knows that providing the best quality to our customers is paramount in sustaining long-term growth and corporate value,” said Claes Holm, president of Merrill Brink. “We want our clients to know that our quality management systems meet the world’s highest standards. They can be confident that their critical translation work is managed at all stages of production within our offices.”
ISO 9001:2008 is the international standard that applies to documented processes and procedures to assist in maintaining a Quality Management System, while ISO 13485:2003 is based on ISO 9001 with a focus on the design, development, production and installation of medical devices and related services. Both standards cover work done at Merrill Brink’s corporate headquarters in St. Paul, Minn. and at its Galway, Ireland office.
