Full, certifiable translations

Translations that run through our Full translation cycle are translated, edited and undergo all our quality assurance processes. Documents that have gone through our full translation processes may be certified upon request.

Basic, for informational purposes only (FIPO) translations

FIPO translations offer a cost-effective, faster alternative to a full certifiable translation. FIPO translations are translated and undergo a light quality control review.  While not as “polished” as a full translations, FIPO translations do enable you to ascertain the complete content of a document. 

Summary translations

Summary translation include a brief summary of the content (a few sentences) when you need an overview of the document on shorter turnaround time. This is also a time- and cost-effective way to cull large volumes of documents and identify those which require full translation.

Machine translations

Merrill Discovery Translator (MDT), Merrill Brink’s machine translation solution, enables companies and law firms to quickly translate large volumes of electronic documents and identify those that are relevant. Supported by Merrill Brinks proprietary automated project management platform, thousands of pages can be translated in a fraction of the time required by traditional methods, yielding significant time and cost savings. Machine translation quality typically correlates to the quality of the source document and how well it can by OCR’d. Because quality can vary, we will always provide a sample prior to taking on a project. Samples should represent the different types and quality of documents.
