Merrill Corporation, global leaders in working with corporate and legal entities in the management, collection, processing, hosting and disclosure of material for matters requiring document review; and Merrill Brink International, a leading provider of complete translation and language solutions for global companies and law firms, hosted a Bribery Act Panel Discussion.
Using a “Question Time” format, the moderator posed questions to the panelists and allowed members of the audience to submit their own questions prior to the event. The panelists have a great deal of experience with both FCPA investigations and Bribery Act compliance. The event answered questions about the Bribery Act. The panel discussion covered subjects such as the jurisdiction of the Act, self-reporting, inter-agency cooperation, hospitality, liability to third-party actions, compliance issues and how to limit exposure to liability.
